Waitstaff (PT: Open Availability)

The Waitstaff position is responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests by following established style and order of service when serving in the main dining room and at special functions. Other responsibilities include taking orders, serving residents, clearing and setting tables, bussing, This position reports to the Service Manager or designee.
Key Position Qualifications Include:
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to maneuver utility and tray carts
- Must be able to bend, lift, and stand intermittently during work hours
- Must have good communication skills and be able to read and speak directions in English
- Must have the ability to follow instructions, work well with others, and maintain good rapport with residents and other staff
Key Performance Success Indicators Include:
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
- Mastery of product knowledge; Menu recall.
- Maintaining a customer oriented approach
