About The Forest at Duke
For over 30 years, The Forest at Duke’s team has provided a caring, responsible community that fosters the independence of residents of retirement age by enhancing their capability to lead purposeful, active, healthy and secure lives.
As a Dining Manager, and a Forest Team Member, you’ll help support this mission by managing the bistro staff and assisting with the provision, preparation, and quality of Dining Services.
What we’re looking for in our next Team Member…
- Previous dining management experience.
- Prior experience in long-term care (skilled/assisted) or CCRC is highly preferred.
- Knowledgeable of sanitation practices and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Strong communication skills; able to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, guests, and staff.
- Possesses ability to follow instructions, work well with others, and maintain good rapport with residents and other staff.
- Ability to maintain professional attitude in high stress area.
- Basic computer skills.
